Story

Last year I did a 10 mile walk with some colleagues from work supporting Demelza.

At the end of the walk, we were invited to see first hand the work they do. I could go into loads of detail about that experience…..but knowing that Demelza supports end of life care is one thing. To see a Moses basket where someone’s child has died is quite another.

I set myself a challenge then that I‘d do more to raise money for this fantastic charity. When I saw the skydiving challenge I thought ‘this is it’. The thought of jumping out of a plane freaks me out completely. But then I thought  ‘why not?’. If I talked someone else to do it too it would be easier. Enter Andi, my partner’s sister who I knew would be up for it.

The more money we raise, the more likely I’ll make that jump with a smile on my face as I think of the good that we’ve - and I mean you that donate - have done.

Supporting us is helping those children and their families. What’s to lose?
