Ive decided to run the RunLiverpool Mersey Tunnel 10K 2012 this year. This is going to be the furthest Ive ever ran on purpose so Ive decided not to let this opportunity to raise some funds for a really good cause go to waste.

Im running it for the Woodlands Hospice (http://www.woodlandshospice.org/) based locally in Aintree, they are a great charity which helps patients and their families affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses by providing a range of support and therapies for everyone affected.

This year also marks the 5th anniversary of my best friend Kev's death from the illness so its a perfect time to raise a little more funds for this place who helped him and his family through difficult times.

Anything you can afford would be greatly appreciated!
