In September 2018 our world was turned upside down, my wife Carla was diagnosed with rectum cancer with secondary tumors on her liver. She is currently having chemotherapy every other week and is coping with it very well with few side effects. The staff at clatterbridge are fantastic. Carla can get very anxious having tests done doesn't like to be poked or prodded but the staff treating her have been amazing with her talking her through what's happening and reassuring her and I think she has even surprised herself how brave she has been throughout the past few months. The staff are always pleasent and very supportive to not just Carla but myself and the kids as well.
