I am raising funds for Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind by running the Cambridge Half Marathon!

This is the first time I have attempted to raise money for a charity and to tackle a half marathon. I am doing so in memory of my father, Derick, who passed away in September 2019. 

On any given year, one in four of us will suffer from mental health problems. It is a very real crisis that affects child and adult alike. Sadly, many people suffer alone and this is why Mind is so important. It is a  charity that provides support to those in need and leads campaigns on a range of issues that could affect anybody with a mental health problem. 

I am already in the midst of training, tethered to my dog, Benji, and shuffling across the Suffolk countryside. It's going well, but your support and donations would mean a great deal to me.
