Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page in support of the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).KSS is an independent charity. a service that costs over £15.2M a year to sustain its world-leading, cutting edge, innovative service. 

I sustained life-threatening injuries in an accident at a Goodwood motorsport event earlier this year, and needed to be taken by this Air Ambulance Service to Southampton Hospital.

The plans is to ‘shuffle’ around the famous half marathon route on September 11 with a group of ‘medical’ friends and family, to generate funds for the Goodwood Revival charity for 2022, the Aldingbourne Trust (www.aldingbournetrust.org), along with the Air Ambulance Kent Surry Sussex charity, KSS.

Dubbed Team Tortoise, the East Yorkshire group comprises my son Henry, Mark Eggleston; Mark’s daughters Lucy Eggleston who is a physiotherapist and Millie Eggleston, a doctor; Mark’s brother Richard Eggleston and Sam Havler, a physiotherapist.

The organisers at Goodwood helped my family so much in the days after the accident, offering emotional and practical support, and without the air ambulance I most probably wouldn’t be here today.
