Story
Many of you will know that the London Marathon on Sunday 3 October will be my 100th Marathon and as long as I finish I'll then join the 100 Marathon Club.
You may also know that my Dad died in July this year, 20 years after being diagnosed and treated with prostate cancer, but cancer returned and he won't be here to see me cross that finish line. Last year our good friend and another avid parkrunner, Andy also died of cancer and prostate was the main cause. Dad was lucky in some ways as he had that extra 20 years. Andy wasn't so lucky.
So I'd like to use my 100th marathon run to raise money for prostate cancer so that more people get lucky like my Dad and fewer people die far too young.
Thanks in advance for your support - it'll be an emotional journey in more ways than one.
