Story
Wolo Foundation help families living in Sussex through their cancer journeys. They support them by offering practical help and support to make their day-to-day lives easier. They work with local businesses and communities to offer families a wealth of services to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond. Statistics show that 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Life is precious - we need to make the most of it - we only live once - WOLO.
Last year I lost my sister-in-law to this horrible disease but worse than that my brother lost his wife & my 4 year old nephew lost his mummy!!
But thanks to charities like the WOLO Foundation “We Only Live Once” families affected by Cancer can receive that much needed additional support.
WOLO have organised a 15,000ft skydive on 2nd May 2021, now I’m not particularly fond of heights but as Jay is visually impaired heights don't really bother him!! A Skydive is something that’s been on Jay’s bucket list for a while and seeing that he’s now 16 years old he is now old enough to jump so I’m going to join him at 15,000ft and do something together that we will never forget.
Therefore when I saw what WOLO were planning, we thought we would grab the opportunity to do it and raise some money for a great charity at the same time!
Please dig deep and support us and we promise we won’t wimp out at the last minute! 😉
