The Race Europe event will see 14 London Football Clubs race across Europe in a virtual activity challenge. Working in squads of 23, each Club aim to be the fastest to cover the 6,720 miles that separate all of the Euro 2021 Host Cities. The Fulham FC Foundation has been working hard to adapt their services to support the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes delivering over 500 hours of online sessions and providing a telephone befriending service to those most isolated. To date, the Foundation have made over a 1000 calls and received multiple referrals from local care networks. However, there are many more people in need of support and for many months to come as the impact of Covid-19 continues to impact our communities and our people, affecting both their physical and mental health. All funds raised from the event will support Fulham FC Foundations work in the community tackling social isolation and health inequalities.
