Event: Great Wall of China Challenge, from 14 September 2019 to 22 September 2019
In memory of Wendy Sharpe
Following the incredible success of our treks to Machu Picchu (2012, 2017) and Mount Kilimanjaro (2015), Team MND Scotland will be trekking the Great Wall of China in September 2019.

Story

My wife Wendy was diagnosed with MND in September 2017. She was the love of my life. She was so happy and proud of me for taking up this challenge in her name.

Wendy died on 1st May 2018 she was 50 years of age. She got 8 months.

Part of the challenge involves climbing a thousand steps to the top carrying a brick to help repair this Wonder of the World.

Spiritually I will be carrying Wendy with me and when I place the brick on the top of the wall, I will symbolically be letting her go.

It will be a spiritual emotional difficult journey for me but I do it for her , in her name and for all MND sufferers. Please, your donation could save another family from being devastated by this the most cruelest of illnesses.

A cure must be found.

Please help in anyway you can ?
