Story
I'm running the Sheffield Half Marathon on 29/03/20 in memory of our dear friend Dee, who passed away last May.
Dee's partner Dave has already raised a huge amount of cash, so after some minor arm-twisting I thought it best to join him.
Cavendish Cancer Care are a fantastic local charity. They provided much-needed support to Dee and Dave, and have done the same for numerous other friends.
As a lazy asthmatic who probably hasn't trained enough, I doubt this will be easy - 13 miles is a LONG way - and did I mention that Cavendish are amazing?
Anything you can spare will be very much appreciated and very well used.
Please do Gift Aid any donations; it costs nothing extra and makes a massive difference.
--------
Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with cancer and their loved ones. Last year, they supported over 1,900 people affected by cancer, including carers and children. They offer free-of-charge packages of therapy and support, tailored to each individual's specific needs. But Cavendish only receive enough statutory funding to keep their doors open for about two weeks each year, meaning they rely on the generosity of the public to keep running. Put simply - they need your help.
