The Lost Hours Walk 2021 · 30 October 2021 to 31 October 2021 ·

It's time to unite against suicide. 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK. That's not ok. This October, we're taking to the streets across the UK to walk against suicide.

Story

I'm walking against suicide. On October 30th 2021 at 9.30PM, I'm taking on the Lost Hours Walk in support of CALM.

Here is why:

  • On average, 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK.
  • 75% of people who take their lives are not known to mental health services or have not been in touch with them within the last year.
  • 135 people are directly affected by every suicide.
  • We are coming together across the country to send a message that that it is not ok. We are taking to the streets to walk against struggling in silence, against being alone, against living miserably.

Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM's free, anonymous and confidential helpline & webchat are there for anyone who needs support. They're open from 5pm-midnight every day. £8 is enough to fund a call that could save a life.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Paul
