As some of you may know about 3 years I was treated for Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma a cancer of the blood. Fortunetly I have been clear for 2 and 1/2 years.

Apart from the staff at RDGH and my friends and familly the Macmillian Nurses at RDGH help a lot.

During the time I was ill it was the Macs who helped with my pain and sickness as well as with financial matters. 

Like many of my friends I am a nurse so know the work the Macmillian nurses do.

For these reasons I am running the Clowne 1/2 Marathon to raise a bit (lot!) of cash.
