Story
Following the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2012, I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 26th May 2013 in support of Myeloma UK.
Unfortunately, my sister Gillian has been diagnosed with Myeloma, and therefore, running the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money in support of her and Myeloma UK is a small contribution toward hopefully finding a cure.
Until March 2012, I had never heard of Myeloma. Subsequently, I now know that Myeloma, also known as Multiple Myeloma, is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow.
There are 4000 new cases per year in the UK and Myeloma accounts for 15% of all blood cancers.
Current treatments can be effective at halting Myeloma for longer and improving quality of life, but at present there is no cure.
If you wish to sponsor me for the Edinburgh Marathon, it would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this and a special thank you to all those who have donated so far. Please forward on to anyone else who would be interested in donating.

I'll run the miles, hopefully we can create some smiles. Thank you so much,
