Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a recent convert to cycling and being Manx I have this fantastic opportunity to raise money for the Islands’ Children's Centre and I am looking for sponsorship to enable the Children's Centre to develop their community initiatives and services for children, young people and families throughout the island.

I am cycling 965 Miles over 9 days from Lands End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) to raise money for The Children’s Centre - an Isle of Man charity organisation.

Completing the LEJOG has been a long held ambition of mine, and although a challenging event, I look forward to memories of cycling through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north Long the Welsh Border, Lake District and into Scotland via lochs, and mountains to the North Coast and John O’Groats.

The reality I am sure will be somewhat different …my family think it’s an attempt to qualify for The Darwin Award

Additional motivation will be provided by my wife following along behind with the two Beagles and Hugo our motorhome (unless we happen to pass any shopping malls…)

This event is being organised by The Children’s Centre with support from Old Mutual International.
