Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2023 · 14 May 2023 ·

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will take place on Sunday 14 May 2023 and has been inspired by former Leeds Rhinos captain, Kevin Sinfield OBE, and his fundraising challenges in recent years in support of his friend and team mate Rob Burrow.

Story

In 41 days, I will be taking part in the @jtrunforall Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. Having watched Rob’s story about his fight with MND and despite never running a full or half marathon before, I felt inspired to challenge myself and play a small part in raising some much-needed funds to two very important charities.

I am raising for funds for the @MND association and @Tessabraincancermission. Two amazing charities (one in particular means a lot to my family) and I am sure every penny will make a difference.

I realise times are hard, but if you can spare a couple of pounds to my JustGiving page, I would really appreciate it.

I don’t care how long it will take me to run the marathon, even if I have to crawl to the finish line, I will. Plus, I know my friend in the sky will be with me and kicking my arse to get me over the line.

Thank you.
