Story
Finally, having moved here from Botswana, running The London Marathon is within reach.
More importantly I can actually train in humane temperatures! (Not that I like the rain).
We have become good friends with someone affected by spinal injury and she has educated us on the devastating effects this has on people and their families.
The work Backup does is essential, not only for the injured person but also the families who undergo massive lifestyle changes.
Spinal injury can happen to anyone at any time and thereafter a life is forever changed.
So I'm going to plod my way around the streets of London, sweating, aching and probably swearing... For this worthwhile cause.
So unless you feel like joining me, please please help me to reach my target!
The Marathon is on October 2nd and I would really to have hit my target by then to avoid running with a donation hat!!
THANK YOU
