I am running the Bupa Great South Run for Macmillan Cancer Support and for Green Trees Primary School.

We all know about Macmillan and the wonderful work they do and given that most of us know someone who has had cancer, it is therefore a good charity to support.

My daughter started Green Trees Primary School last year and has had an excellent first year.  She has taken part in many activities, which are supported by FRoGs (Friends of GreenTrees School).  Without their help, support and especially their fund raising, these activities just would not take place.

Both organisations need support and funding so please dig deep!

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Macmillan will be collecting the funds in the first instance and subsequently sending Green Trees half of the account when it is closed.
