Story

I'm running my first ever Marathon and yes it’s the London Marathon on the 21st April 2024, raising money for the Orchard Vale Trust!

Orchard Vale Trust is a Somerset-based charity that supports adults with learning disabilities to live life to the full. They take a holistic approach to care, providing people with homes for life, as well as offering community and day services.  They have seen first-hand the brilliant things that people with learning disabilities can achieve, and strive to share these achievements with the wider community. They  approach every person they support as the individual that they are, allowing them to choose the direction of their care wherever possible.

I have run shorter distance events at 5k and 10k and ran the Cardiff half marathon on 1st October 2023 and the Gosport half marathon in November 2023.

My aim for London is to finish in less than 6 hours and raise lots of money along the way.

I would really appreciate any support you can provide for The Orchard Vale Trust by donating to my page here.
