I am raising money for Guy's and St Thomas' Kidney patients Association. I had a kidney transplant at Guys Hospital four years ago and my partner Billy was the donor. I have been a committee member of the charity for for over three years

Among the things that the charity does is :-

-        £20k per year to fund two rooms at Ronald McDonald House, where families of children at the Evelina Hospital can stay, while their child is treated

-        £10k per year to fund children and adult participants in the transplant games

-        £30-50k per year to fund specific research posts within Guy’s Hospital and its academic partner King’s College

-        £100k to fund experimental posts within the hospital that have proved so effective that the Trust has taken them over as permanent positions.

-        various grants to individuals in specific cases of urgent financial need where the social services are unable to help.

Support to patients at the dialysis centres of the hospital.
