I'm running this year's Royal Parks Half Marathon along with many of my Travel Counsellors colleauges to try and raise some much needed cash for PLAN and I hope you can help.

PLAN is a child-centred organisation that helps families and communities in some of the world's most impoverished places to make lasting improvements to the lives of their children.  They work together with communities to plan practical ways to provide things that we all take for granted and help to build schools, train nurses, drill wells and help the families to support themselves.

In the countries where PLAN works, one in five children die before the age of 5 and those surviving are often hungry and have no chance to learn to read or write.
