On Sunday 30th July I will be running the Hillsborough half marathon with Energized Fitness to raise money for Marie Curie.

As we all know, according to the government, cancer stopped existing during the covid pandemic as appointments, scans and treatments were stopped. Now that the pandemic is over cancer has returned with the number of people being diagnosed or seeing their cancer progression being higher than before Covid. 

As the government is unwilling to help anyone these days, especially charities, every penny they get is vital. Many of you will know how Marie Curie helped my family out when we needed it with many of their volunteers working full time jobs as well as providing cancer sufferers and their families with help and support when needed anytime day or night. 

I know times are tough and people don't have as much spare money at the moment so any donation will be greatly appreciated. I'll keep everyone updated on how I do on the day and the final tally. Thank you.
