Story

I am taking on the Thames Bridges Trek for Petals, the baby loss counselling charity. This is a 25km walk across 16 London Bridges, starting at Putney Bridge and finishing on the world famous Tower Bridge. I am hoping to raise £1,000.

Petals provide specialist counselling for women, men and couples who have suffered the devastating loss of a pregnancy or death of a baby. It is a sad reality that in the UK, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, 1 in 200 babies will be stillborn every year, over 5000 pregnancies will be terminated for medical reasons each year and 24 babies die shortly after birth every single week.

Petals deliver hundreds of counselling sessions every month. Each session costs Petals £80, I would like my sponsorship to fund as many sessions as possible, so many more parents can be supported. So every donation counts!

Many thanks

Paul
