Hi... as most of you are aware Ella my daughter has cerebral palsy, some may not be aware that Ella attends Unique Kidz on a regular basis. She attends the holiday clubs and has recently started the sign out loud sessions. She loves attending and always comes home with a happy glow and plenty of happy stories to share, which is hugely important. The surroundings and the opportunities the Charity provides give children with special needs the chance to engage with others with similar needs which really is special. It gives Ella independence away from the home environment to be sociable and most importantly make new friends and have fun... so well done Unique Kidz!!
I will be taking part in the GNR 2019 to support Unique Kidz and fundraise, I am hopeful you will also support me and donate to such a great Charity....its onto the preparation for me.... pounding the tarmac to get into hopefully decent shape to give a good go!!..... If you can support me it would be very much appreciated..... THANKS.... Paul... X
Unique Kidz and Co was founded in 2009 by two mums who were unable to find suitable childcare for their own disabled children. Opening in July 2009, the first holiday club was attended by over 65 children. Fast forward 10 years and the charity now runs from it's own building in Morecambe and has extended it's services to include afterschool and holiday clubs for disabled children aged 5-19, daytime support for disabled young adults aged 16-25, stay and play sessions for children under 5 and a siblings group for children aged 8. In 2019, Unique Kidz and Co will celebrate a huge milestone - it's 10th birthday!
