Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I've been training hard for my second Great North Run and I'm aiming to do it as fast as possible so please dig deep when you sponsor below. Clearly my primary aim in making myself run over thirteen miles round a Northern city is that I have to beat the time my brother got last year - all the motivation a sibling should ever need...!

However, like last year this isn't just about getting fit or fuelling a healthy sibling rivalry - I'm also hoping to raise some more money for Myeloma UK. They're an amazing charity raising awareness of and researching into one of the lesser known (though increasingly common) cancers as well as offering support to those affected by myeloma. In all these capacities Myeloma UK were of great help to my Dad and family as a whole.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Myeloma UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you would like to know more about my chosen charity please visit www.myeloma.org.uk or obviously get in touch with me.

Many thanks again for your support.

Paul
