Ewan and I are kind of jumping on the ‘Movember’ bandwagon. We are both keen to raise money for Alzheimer’s Scotland in memory of Ewan’s Papa Hamish who sadly passed away recently and had suffered from the disease. We could have done something else – perhaps some sponsored physical endeavour – but, to protect my health and to take account of my considerable age, thought about growing some facial hair throughout the month of November, along with the many who’ll do so on behalf of some very specific men’s charities. The only difference being the beneficiary of our ‘efforts’ will be our preferred charity – a charity close to our hearts for obvious reasons. We hope this doesn’t bother anyone and that you can give whatever you can – with Hamish in mind. What a man. He’s sadly missed but would approve of our efforts – as long as we shave off whatever monstrosities we manage to grow – he wasn’t keen on beards!!! Before and after photos will be provided!
