My name is Paul McBride. 

I am climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa on a 9 day hike in October 2022.

I am fundraising for Robin House (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) in Balloch. I first heard of Robin House while reading a travel book called Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman a number of years ago. 

Robin House (CHAS) care for children with life-shortening conditions and theirfamilies. They offer a full family support service for babies, children andyoung people. This includes palliative care, family respite and support - through hospices, home care services and hospital presence. 

They make sure no matter how short a families time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief they are determined that joy lives on. The work they do is truly amazing. 

All money donated will make a huge difference to families who need it the most.
