Story
Hi thanks for reading
Thanks (I think!) to the London Fire Brigade securing me a place in this years Marathon I thought it would be only proper to try and raise a bit of money for the fire fighters charity.
I have been a Fire-fighter for over 18 years and while I am lucky that I have not had to use the services of the charity (come the end of 26.2 gruelling miles I may need them) I know many people that have. All of which received fantastic support, advice and care. They provide so much across a broad range of services from mental health and well-being, rehabilitation and recuperation to name but a few. Providing help to serving and former fire-fighters as well as dependants.
Check out the website for more detail of what they do and who they help.

Also check out the website of one of their support partners, another cause very close to my heart

It would be great if you could spare a few quid for the cause and any help would be greatly appreciated. A donation of £5 allows one beneficiary to attend a group exercise therapy session while £20 Provides one beneficiary with a chance to speak to a psychological therapist.
Thank you so much if you read this far and wish me luck!!!
