Story
On the 26th of June, I'm doing a tandem Sky Dive to raise money for the amazing New College Worcester.
I will free-fall from 10,000ft at speeds of up to 120mph attached to a qualified instructor before gliding towards the ground and landing (hopefully!).
I am raising money for New College Worcester in order to support the wonderful work the college are doing with young people aged 11-19 who are blind or vision impaired.
We give students not only a wide range of educational opportunities but equip them with the independent living skills, confidence and self-esteem they will need, when the time comes for them to move on.
The majority of our students school fees are paid by their own local authority. This covers the cost of their education and residency and any one-one support a student may need.
However, the costs associated with general maintenance, unexpected repairs, the school refurbishment programme, school vehicles and most trips and activities are paid for by the School, supported as much as possible by our Fundraising department.
We are always very grateful to receive donations that in some way helps to provide our students with the facilities, opportunities and experiences they deserve.
