I'm doing a number of Cycling Sportives 80 miles 103 miles etc and obstacle runs throughout 2015, to raise funds for Shine. My brother died when he was a baby due to having Hydrocephalus, he was also deaf and blind, there wasn't the treatment years ago like there is now.

My Niece was also diagnosed with Hydrocephalus when she was 7 years old and had a shunt fitted in her head, she is now 30 years and has two children and one on the way. Probably without the aid of the shunt she wouldn't be with us now.
