Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After my operation last year at the John Radcliffe I decided that I would do my best to support the hospital – the development of the new heart wing provides an opportunity to have a specific event and hopefully attract wider sponsorship. Despite the title of the event I am not trying to ‘climb Everest’ or ‘swim the Channel’ - it is just a walk in an park! However, for many taking part, the fact that they can do it at all is as a result of undergoing operations that were simply not possible 25 years ago and are now becoming commonplace. I hope that you, your family and friends, will never need to use the facilities of the heart wing…..but believe me we are incredibly lucky to have this world class facility in . Anything you can donate will help many people who are going through a very stressful period in their lives, so whatever we can do to ease their time whilst there is a worthy cause.
