The Mary Leishman foundation was set up in memory of my Aunty Mary who was a well-loved and massively respected lady. She had time for every person she met and was keen on seeing people fulfil their potential.

 The foundation was established to encourage potential and ease distress. They have successfully raised over a £1 million pounds that has all gone back into the local community and the walk is still one of a number of successful events that continues to raise awareness and funds to help and support others which has included things such as much-needed healthcare equipment to musical instruments for all of the local schools!
