Story

On 26th April I would have been taking part in the 40th Virgin London Marathon. Sadly, but rightly, it has been postponed due to social distancing rules. I was on track to attempt to finish in under 3 hours, but was taken out by COVID19 on 13th March. I've been nowhere near as bad as some have and recovered at home.

I've been back running for two weeks on my treadmill (I have to save my one outing a day for dog walking). I've also been going in to work most days - I'm a key worker in a school that is adjacent to Heartlands Hospital (a COVID hospital). My longest run since being ill is 13.1 miles. I'm sure I can make the 26.2 miles; less sure of how quickly and certainly less sure of how I'll cope with 3 hours plus of treadmill tedium!

I don't expect to raise much, but here goes! Sponsor if you wish!
