We provide hospice care and support to people in Swindon and north Wiltshire

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and a group of friends are canoeing THE THAMES...from Lechlade in Swindon to London starting on the 1st July.  This is a total of 135 miles and we are aiming to complete it in just 4 days!!  We are doing this to raise awareness, and of course money, for Prospect Hospice; a hospice in Swindon that gives fantasic end of life care.

Having never canoed before I wasn't too sure what I was getting myself in to...so after the first 'training session' (which generally consists of me and the lads splashing each other and hoping someone falls in) the next day I couldn't move...I found muscles I had never used playing football and hopefully will never have to use again after 4th July!

So far I am one set of car keys, a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a phone down...all lost in the depths of The Thames!

It is for a great cause and I will put everything I have in to completing this challenge.

Please give generously.

Thanks Oggie.
