Sepsis (also known as blood poisoning/toto pirau) is a common, life-threatening condition that happens when your body's response to an infection injures your tissues and organs. We work towards a vision of zero preventable harm due to sepsis in New Zealand. We provide community and health worker education; support for people, families and whanau living through a sepsis event; and funding for original research. JUST ASK, "COULD IT BE SEPSIS?"
