Story
I decided at the end of April I'd take advantage of the Covid-19 lockdown and try and do something for a worthy cause. I wanted it to be something that really challenged me so that's when I decided on this. Cover the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats on my exercise bike, but only give myself one month to do it.
So,874 miles or 1406.5 km,that's roughly 30 miles/50k every day in May. This is by far the hardest challenge I've ever took on. Another stipulation I've decided on is I must complete the miles every day in under two hours. Any miles I don't cover will roll over until they are done. Trust me,two hours every day on an exercise bike is pretty brutal but I'm determined.
The reason for this is to raise money for this amazing cause. Cerebral Palsy is a condition that has personal links to my family. My Nephew Rhys has it,as well as been autistic, suffering from epilepsy, being deaf and partially sighted. This amazing little boy has been a fighter since the day he entered the world at 26 weeks,he is now 13 years old. So this challenge and every single mile is dedicated to him to show him just how much he inspires me every single day.
Please,I know these are difficult times financially but if you can spare anything at all I'd be so grateful and I promise I'll keep pedalling till this is done.
Thank you
