Story
I was due to take part in the London Marathon in 2020, but due to COVID-19, it was postponed by six-months and then conducted virtually. I ran the 26.2 miles and was blown away by the support I received from you all.
My place in the official event has been carried over to 3rd October 2021 and I'll be pounding the tarmac in my wolf costume again.
Fundraising has been incredibly difficult for charities for over a year now. This has resulted in significant reductions of income during a time when they are needed more than ever. In the past year, LUPUS UK has continued to provide helpline support, updated information articles about shielding and vaccination, and awarded over £32,000 in financial support grants through their COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.
I'm so proud to be the Chief Executive of this incredible organisation. I'm inspired by the passion and drive of our volunteers and staff and we have so many great ideas to make the charity even better in the future. Your donations and sponsors can help us to do this.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me with my fundraising.
