In February 2008 I lost my friend Heather to lupus, she was 18. I later ran my first half marathon for LUPUS UK. Since then I have continued to support this fantastic charity in any way I can, with further fundraising events and even working with them for over six years! Whilst it is fortunately rare for lupus to be fatal like it was for Heather, I now know even more about the impact this disease can have on the lives of people living with it and those close to them.
I hope that you can support me with the biggest fundraising challenge I have faced so far by sponsoring me and helping to raise awareness of lupus.
