Firstly I am supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care because this Charity touched my life during a very tough time. My Dad was diagnosed with terminal and very aggressive form of lung cancer at a very young age and died when he was just 48! He wasn't a smoker he had completed four marathons, played football twice a week and was significantly fitter than myself and most people his age so the shock when he was diagnosed with a lung cancer was indescribable.The help and support Marie Curie gave to him and all of us during a time which I consider probably the most difficult in my life was nothing short of amazing they made him as comfortable as possible provided all the support and equiptment needed so Dad could have the last few months of his life at home with us. The work they do is just amazing and is just not recognised enough!
