Story
HALLO, and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sometime last October, Matthew and I had the ridiculous idea of entering our sorry selves into the Greater Manchester Marathon. I believe we thought it was something to do with chocolate. Anyway, on 29th April, we'll be sprinting (hobbling) across this fair county to the tune of 26 and a bit miles. Should we survive, we'll no doubt be very pleased with ourselves; in the meantime, you can add to that joy by hurling your hard-earned cash at us (not literally).
We'll be raising money separately for two different charities, but will be jointly, eternally, grateful for any donation you can spare to either cause.
I'll be running for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, which provides facilities and equipment for patients being treated at the Cancer Centre in Preston and the local Cancer Units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria. You can find out more about them at www.rosemere.org.uk
Thanks again - here's to a celebratory gin at the finish line...
