Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A friend of mine convinced me to do enter the Dublin Marathon in 2012.  I rather foolishly agreed and committed myself to a world of pain.

On 29th October while some of you are sat at your desks in the office slurping down your first coffee of the day, or others will be enjoying a lazy bank holiday morning (Ireland) I will be embarking on 26.2 miles (the point two miles is very important. To put that in context after 26 gruelling miles around Dublin that little 0.2 mile is actually 320 meters more, or 1056 feet).

So thank you for visiting my page and hopefully donating to Sands.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
