Hi, my name is Paul Hardaker, in May 2011 I sailed around Great Britain single handed with an African Grey parrot to raise money in aid of the Crohn's and Colitis UK charity. This challenge was life changing and taught me that if you push yourself the limitations are endless.

I intend to continue doing challenges until I raise my target of £10,000.

My next challenge is to ride from Liverpool to the Arctic Circle in July 2016 and hopefully in 2016 I will finally get to accomplish the long awaited cross Channel kayak 

I have been diagnosed with Crohn's for about thirteen years now and I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones, as up until now I have had only a few stays in hospital due to 'flare ups'.

There are many a child / adult suffering horrendously with this disease, it is still a very grey area and hopefully any monies that I can raise will be put to good use.
