We fund lifesaving research to to tackle heart and circulatory diseases
Story
Just want to tell you a quick story my father suffered a heart attack the day after Boxing Day last year and spent a month in James Cook Hospital. The reason he was in there so long was that they didn't want to operate because he also had pneumonia and his lungs weren't strong enough for the operation and the general anaesthetic so he remained there but his lungs never recovered so it didn't look good until the surgeon looking after my dad heard of a revolutionary procedure that was out in Germany and still under development my dad was asked if he would go through with the procedure and the rest is history. He was the first in the world to undergo this procedure and even made the news worldwide. This is why I'm cycling the London to Brighton for The British Heart Foundation this June and I ask you all to please donate to my just giving page.
