Paul's Marsden March
Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
Fundraising for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
I'm doing the Royal Marsden March in memory of Nicola Thomson, a bright young member of Epsom Players, and a friend, who lost her fight against cancer last year. Her loss at such a young age affected many of my friends and she will not be forgotten.
Cancer has affected far too many of my friends and family including Joan Morris who sadly lost her fight against cancer shortly before I married her daughter, Laura.
For Pete Morris, Laura's dad, who is recovering from cancer thanks to the help of the Marsden.
But above all, to my dear wife, Laura, who has recently been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer and will now be a patient of the Marsden too.
Walking 14 miles is nothing like the challenge facing those with this disease but doing nothing is not an option and every penny counts in funding cancer research and helping the Marsden continue to give excellent care.
