Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I hope to raise money for CF by running the Loch Ness Marathon, one of the most scenic & friendly marathons in the world (and the only one with it's own monster!)

I've been training since March, and have entered a number of half marathons & 10 mile races, as well as Tough Mudder. Loch Ness is my first full marathon however, so I've no doubt it will be even tougher!

Some facts about CF:

  • Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people living in the UK.
  • There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis.
  • Many people with cystic fibrosis still don't live to see their own 40th birthday.
  • Due to the dangers of cross-infection, people with Cystic Fibrosis can't meet each other.

By donating, you can help me reach my target, and ensure that people with cystic fibrosis live longer, healthier lives, through more effective treatments and improved specialised care.
