Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·
On Sunday the 22nd of April I will be running the London Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre. 26 miles of scenic joy, hopefully in a reasonable time. I have been running daily since the summer, mostly a few miles, with the occasional longer run to prepare me for this day of discomfort and bad language.
My dad had MS for approximately 30 years, I saw first hand how challenging it was to live with. The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre is a proactive and innovative charity, committed to supporting anyone affected by MS through access to unbiased information and advice. They encourage sufferers to make choices that are appropriate to their daily lives, giving them the confidence to maximise their potential.
