Story
It would have been Paul’s 70th birthday on 15th March.
He is always in our hearts and thoughts but we would like to
use this as a time to celebrate all he achieved and to visualise all he might have achieved had he lived longer.
He was very much a man of the soil and loved nurturing and
encouraging plants to grow. He also loved nurturing and encouraging his family, friends, those he worked with and anyone he met. His enthusiasm was infectious.
Together with the Parrish family, Dave Parsons, and everyone
he worked with on the farm, he became increasingly aware of the climate change crisis, the need for biodiversity and conservation in caring for our world.
We are inviting you to join us in remembering Paul and
celebrating his life by joining our 'Plant for Paul' initiative between 12th and 15th March wherever you are in the world.
Thinking in multiples of 7 (To celebrate Paul’s 70th) You
might like to plant trees, bee friendly flowers or onions! etc in memory of Paul
Or ‘Plant a foot’ by walking, running...perhaps doing a 7k
walk? ...or timed run for the more competitive!
We would love it if you share any pictorial memories of Paul
to https://photos.app.goo.gl/Bb2QZPX4esHz2MFr9
We would also love it if you feel like sharing photos of what
you do for our Plant for Paul initiative here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/R3N9rVXTqt3aQCzYA
You might then like to help make the world a better place by
donating to the 'Plant for Paul' giving page in aid of Tree Aid(which supports creating the Great Green Wall of Africa).
