Story
My new comic for Magma, the medical thriller/twisted romance The Modern Frankenstein, with art by Emma Vieceli, colour art by Pippa Bowland and letters by Simon Bowland, starts its run on 28th April 2021. To support Autistica, I'm raffling off the naming of a character in issue three, which should be out in June 2021!
How to enter:
Donate £5 to enter 1 ticket into the raffle. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win!
What the winner will receive:
Your name featured in my upcoming comic.
Personalised and signed physical copies of all five issues of the story.
Note: please do not donate anonymously if you want to have a chance to win the prize!
The winner's name will be used in a neutral context, perhaps being heard on a hospital public address system as a doctor being called to a ward. (Please note that The Modern Frankenstein deals with adult themes, and is not suitable for children.)
Autistica will note every five pounds you donate to the charity via this Just Giving site and count it as a raffle ticket, so the more you donate to this very good cause, the higher your chances of winning. (No physical tickets will be sent. Your £5 donation is your ticket.)
The raffle will be promoted on the first 11 of my 12 Blogs of Christmas (13th-23rd December), it'll end at midnight GMT on the 23rd, and the winner will be announced on the last of the Blogs on 24th December.
Autistica is a charity that's very special to me, because my son, Thomas, is autistic, and their approach, of involving autistic people at the very highest levels of their organisation, seems to me to be the best way of raising funds to further research into how the lives of autistic people can be made easier.
