Story

To maintain my sanity in these Covid-19  times I decided to again take a challenge to walk Land's End to John O'Groats - the last time I cycled the journey was in 2010.  This time it has to be 'virtual'  walking some distance every day and recording each week where I would have reached on the 'virtual' route.  I did not plan for this to be a fund raising event as in 2010 I raised around £12000 for Help for Heroes and did not wish to ask again for sponsorship.  However with the very sudden passing of a dear friend (John Banks) I have reconsidered and in his memory as one of the kindest men I have ever had the privilege to have known I am asking for your support.

This particular charity was very close to John's heart and to do this as a tribute to his memory will be my contribution to his everlasting memory.

Please join me in perpetuating the memory of such a fine man and freemason by pressing the DONATE button and adding whatever you can to the total.

It may take me a good long time to complete but I am sure that it will be done.

Thank you so much.
