Bupa Great South Run 2014 · 26 October 2014 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi everyone.

I am going to take part in The Great South Run on Sun 26th Oct 2014 to help raise funds for the MS Society.

It’s a 10 mile run around the historic city of Portsmouth. I know it’s not quite a marathon, but anyone who knows me and my level of fitness will appreciate it will feel like a marathon !!

For those of you who don’t know, my wife Jo was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2000.

Since that day, although regularly suffering the symptoms of her condition, Jo has remained the strongest, bravest and most inspirational person I have ever known…………………she basically just gets on with it, even when she is in pain and feeling terrible.

She is a great wife, friend and soul mate……………..and a fantastic mum to our son Charlie.

We are both so proud of her and love her more than she will ever know.

So, I would be very grateful if you would be kind enough to sponsor me to complete the 10 mile run to help raise money for research into MS, no matter how small a donation, every little bit will help.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Paul, Jo & Charlie Coombe
