Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I am running the 2022 London Marathon for Versus Arthritis in memory of my Mum.

The latter part of Mum’s life was blighted by Arthritis, it made everyday life hard enough but was especially tough when trying to cope with my Father’s illness and subsequent passing. Arthritis caused Mum pain and fatigue but the treatments she received made a real difference to her life. I want to fundraise so everyone young and old doesn’t have to suffer in this way.

Why the London Marathon? Well it’s iconic, in the fullness of time when it is my turn to be the devoted grandparent I want to point to the race on TV and tell the grandkids “I did that” no doubt to be greeted with an eye roll and “We know Grandpa, you tell us every year!”
